Editing your brand by hand
Tune every colour, font, and shape in the Design System studio's editor — with a live preview and nothing saved until you publish
You don't have to do everything in chat — the Design System studio's editor groups every brand choice into four cards you can adjust by hand.
Where the editor lives
Open the Site menu in the top nav and choose Design System. This studio sets your brand — the colours, type, and shapes every page inherits. The editor sits beside a live preview, so you watch each change land as you make it.
The four cards
Color
Set your brand, accent, and page colours. Each one carries a live contrast check so you can see at a glance whether text stays legible on it.
Typography
Pick a font pairing from a gallery — every option is previewed in its real typeface. Then set your body text size and heading weight.
Shape & depth
Dial in corner roundness, spacing density, and the shadow. The shadow is built from independent dials rather than a fixed preset.
Components
Fine-tune individual elements — buttons, cards, and the like — once the foundations feel right.
Shadows are dials, not presets
The Shape & depth card sets the shadow through independent controls: distance, blur, strength, colour, and the direction the light falls from. Because each is its own dial, you can ask for "softer" or "light from the left" and only that single quality changes — the rest of the shadow stays put.
High-level first, precise controls behind Advanced
Every card leads with the high-level choices most brands need. The precise, per-token controls tuck behind an Advanced section on each card, so the surface stays calm until you want to go deeper.
Preview, revert, publish
Change something
Adjust a colour, font, or dial and the preview updates live. A dirty-count badge tracks how many unsaved edits you have.
Revert if needed
Roll back a single field on its own, or Discard the whole draft to return to what's currently live.
Publish
Nothing is saved until you click Publish. Only then does your brand go live across the site.
The agent never publishes on its own. Whether you edit by hand or by chat, you're working on an unsaved draft — your brand changes go live only when you press Publish.
Edit by hand, by chat, or both
The agent reaches for these exact same choices when you describe a change in chat. Ask Fernway Botanical Studio's assistant to "warm up the accent green," then open the Color card and nudge it further by hand. The two ways of working share one draft, so you can move between them freely.
Tip
Watch the dirty-count badge before you leave the studio — it's your reminder that there are unsaved edits waiting for a Publish or a Discard.
