Finding your way around

Move between studios, the live site, and the back office without losing your place.

Atelier gives you clear, predictable ways to move between your studios, your live site, and the technical back office.

The studio switcher

The switcher in the top bar moves you between studios:

  • Pages — your page and content studio.
  • Library — your media.
  • Site — a menu holding Design System and Globals.

The Atelier wordmark returns you home to the General chat.

Every studio, page, and item has its own shareable, reload-safe URL. A Fernway page might open at a URL like /atelier/content/node/5, so you can bookmark or share exactly where you are and come back to the same spot.

Moving between the console and your live site

Three affordances follow one rule: a jump to the live site opens a new tab — so your unsaved draft and open conversation stay put — while moving around inside the workspace stays in the same tab.

View site

The globe in the top bar opens your live site in a new tab.

The editor pill

On the live site, an operator sees a small pill. On one of your pages it reads Edit in Console and jumps to that page in the Pages studio; elsewhere it reads Open Console. Visitors never see it.

System

The account menu has a System door to the technical back office at /admin.

If you open a deep link to a page you can't access or that no longer exists, the console shows a short recovery screen with a way to start fresh — never a blank editor.
